"Thinking and working - this is the work of wisdom (ñāṇa).
You need to truly understand the nature of Dhamma.
Now, the monk often asks you to sit for half an hour.
From 12:30 to 1:30, that's one hour in one session, understand?
Regarding sitting posture, when you feel stiff or uncomfortable, don't endure the discomfort. Adjust your position gently and mindfully.
Isn't it worth analyzing why we adjust? Because it's harmful to let defilements increase. We instruct adjusting to prevent defilements from arising.
However, if you keep adjusting frequently, aren't defilements arising anyway? That becomes following the mind's desires.
If you don't adjust and force yourself to endure, aren't you suffering? Doesn't that become self-torment?
The Middle Way (Majjhima Paṭipadā) is understanding the five aggregates."
This teaching emphasizes the practical application of the Middle Way in meditation practice, avoiding both extreme austerity and excessive indulgence, while maintaining mindful awareness of the five aggregates (pañcakkhandha).
