I conducted DNA and Carbon dating testing on materials believed to be associated with the Buddhist tradition (relics). Samples were submitted to laboratories in the United States as well as to three other scientific institutions across different countries.
However, it has come to my attention that at one of these institutions, some laboratory technicians attempted to sell the Carbon-14 dating data to external individuals and organizations. I would like to firmly reiterate that this research and its data are not for trade or commercial purposes. Any attempt to sell or misuse this information constitutes a serious violation of the declared relic protection procedures.
I have already made a clear public declaration regarding the safeguarding of these relics and the ethical responsibilities tied to them. If any negative consequences or karmic repercussions arise for those involved in such unethical actions—or for their institutions—those outcomes will be a result of their own actions and intentions, not mine.
The sacred relics are under the joint protection of both the Devas (celestial guardians) and human custodians. Together, they uphold the duty of preserving and safeguarding these holy treasures. The responsibility for taking appropriate action against those who violate the established rules has already been entrusted to these guardians.
Therefore, any misconduct—including the unauthorized use, distribution, or sale of data related to the relics—will not go unanswered. The consequences that may follow are not due to my personal will but are the natural result of violating the sacred trust, which has already been placed under deva and human guardianship.
