Don't create discord between people.
When you cause discord between people,That person suffers in this life.
And in the next life too,
They will face separation from spouse and children,
And constant family conflicts.
- Because they caused discord for others,
They won't find harmony with anyone.
- They'll always face separation.
- The karmic patterns keep manifesting.
But if one doesn't do this:
- They don't try to divide people
- When people are divided,
They help mediate and reconcile
- They work for unity,
And help strengthen existing harmony
- They avoid speech that creates discord
- They promote greater unity
If one engages in divisive speech,
Besides falling into lower realms,
Even when reborn as a human,
Negative patterns will manifest.
Therefore, when speaking,
Avoid speech that creates discord.
This is called Pisuṇavācā (divisive speech).
It's like biting from behind. Don't do this.
- Don't destroy the love between people
- Don't destroy the friendship between people
- Don't cause relationships to become void.
It's not good to do so.
