"When we say listening to Dhamma, practicing Dhamma, studying Dhamma, it means our wisdom needs to match with the Dhamma present in our aggregates. The existing Dhamma refers to the five aggregates that appear when sense objects meet sense doors.
A sense object like visible form (rūpārammaṇa) meets with the eye-sensitivity (door). When these two meet, doesn't consciousness arise? Isn't it taught as seeing-consciousness? #Is_it_'I'_seeing_or_seeing-consciousness? This is eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa).
Can consciousness arise alone? Don't feeling (vedanā), perception (saññā), and volition (cetanā) arise together? Is it humans, devas, or brahmas who experience the form, or is it feeling? Is it beings who perceive the form, or is it perception? Is it a self that motivates experiencing and perceiving, or is it volition? When feeling, perception, and volition combine, don't we have four mental aggregates? Only when these four are complete does seeing-consciousness occur. #Are_these_four_mental_aggregates_beings_or_just_phenomena?
Is eye-sensitivity a being? Is visible form a being? When analyzing aggregates, don't we get form aggregate? Combined with four mental aggregates, (makes five aggregates, Lord). This appears at the eye.
#When_seeing_we_must_work_with_the_eye. Are they beings or five aggregates? You need to know these aggregates, understand? At the moment of seeing, are they beings or five aggregates? At the moment of hearing, are they cities and countries or five aggregates?
When truly knowing them as five aggregates, don't wrong perceptions, understanding, and views about them being beings disappear? When right understanding comes, wrong understanding goes. #When_wrong_views_disappear_doesn't_identity-view_fall_away?
Don't these five aggregates disappear after seeing? After hearing? When knowing their impermanence, will you still hold them as permanent? When knowing impermanence, doesn't the eternalist view fall away? When knowing replacement by new aggregates, will you hold the annihilationist view?
When truly knowing them as five aggregates, identity-view falls away. When eternalism, annihilationism, and identity-view fall away, isn't one called a Stream-enterer? #When_becoming_a_Stream-enterer_true_happiness_is_gained.
Isn't it worth examining how much happiness? Could all the gold, silver, gems, rice, and possessions in all of Burma be exchanged for the wisdom of one Path and Fruition? Can all the country's possessions prevent aging? Prevent sickness? Prevent death? They can't escape aging, sickness, and death. #Can_one_be_certain_about_avoiding_lower_realms? No certainty. But doesn't the wisdom of one Path and Fruition definitely free one from lower realms?"
