ဝန္ဒာမိ

ဝန္ဒာမိ စေတိယံ သဗ္ဗံ၊ သဗ္ဗဋ္ဌာနေသု ပတိဋ္ဌိတံ။ ယေ စ ဒန္တာ အတီတာ စ၊ ယေ စ ဒန္တာ အနာဂတာ၊ ပစ္စုပ္ပန္နာ စ ယေ ဒန္တာ၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဝန္ဒာမိ တေ အဟံ။ vandāmi cetiyaṃ sabbaṃ, sabbaṭṭhānesu patiṭṭhitaṃ. Ye ca dantā atītā ca, ye ca dantā anāgatā, paccuppannā ca ye dantā, sabbe vandāmi te ahaṃ.

Fundamental practice of morality is freely available to all.

"Sīla (morality) leads to human birth, sīla leads to deva birth. When that sīla develops into samādhi (concentration), it leads to brahma birth. Isn't this worth studying? That's why people say 'I'm weak in practice' and 'Do wholesome deeds.' #Kusala (wholesome action) refers to the Five Precepts, which don't cost even one penny! Does keeping the Five Precepts cost any money? Isn't it worth considering how valuable these Five Precepts are? Don't the venerable teachers teach that sīla-kusala (moral virtue) is more valuable than dāna-kusala (giving)? Isn't it taught that samādhi (concentration) is more valuable than sīla? Isn't it taught that vipassanā (insight) is more valuable than samatha (tranquility)? Consider this progression carefully..."
