Warning

As we approach the end of March and move into April, regions such as Mandalay, Sagaing, and some part of Shan State may experience the effects of earthquakes.

Given the potential impact on historical sites, infrastructure, and communities, it is crucial to take proactive measures for preservation and reconstruction.

Proper planning and preparedness can help mitigate damage and ensure a swift recovery.

May all beings remain safe and free from harm during this time of uncertainty.

With Metta

May wisdom and righteousness guide all beings.

what needs to be understood

"One can only become a Sotāpanna, Sakadāgāmi, Anāgāmi, or Arahant through understanding the Four Noble Truths. #One must begin with Sotāpanna - there's no skipping stages. Not knowing the Four Noble Truths and the five aggregates is (Avijjā - ignorance). Wrongly perceiving beings, deities, or brahmas in the five aggregates is (Avijjā). From wrong perception comes: - Desire (Taṇhā) - Clinging (Upādāna) These three - Avijjā, Taṇhā, Upādāna - constitute the Truth of Origin (Samudaya-sacca). #Is Samudaya-sacca a being, city, country, sons, or daughters? No. #Understanding Samudaya-sacca is not a self but Path Truth (Magga-sacca). Where there are causes (Samudaya), don't the resultant aggregates arise? Is what arises beings or the five aggregates? Does anyone with aggregates escape aging, sickness, and death? This is Suffering Truth (Dukkha-sacca). #When Right View (Sammā-diṭṭhi) arises: - Wrong view ceases - Craving ends - Clinging stops - Kamma formation ceases - The three cycles of Dependent Origination break - #This is the Truth of Cessation (Nirodha-sacca) This is what needs to be understood..."
