"When knowing vedanā, when labeling it vedanā, #the_five_aggregates_are_already_included. Doesn't wrong view fall away? Doesn't doubt cease? When knowing impermanence, do we still find the five aggregates or their absence? We find their absence.
Isn't it taught as knowing the absence and knowing the replacement? Absence is anicca, replacement is saṅkhāra. When vedanā ceases, isn't it replaced? When saññā ceases, isn't it replaced? When cetanā, viññāṇa, and rūpa cease, aren't they replaced?
This is #the_resultant_vipāka_vaṭṭa_khandha. This must be known. Can what must be known be eliminated? #It_cannot_be_eliminated. Isn't it taught as 'know and abandon'?
When known, do taṇhā, upādāna, and kamma still come in the third frame? #They_are_abandoned.
#This_is_called_transcending_vedanā, #when_taṇhā_doesn't_arise.
#Don't_just_repeat_what_others_say. We're talking about vedanā ceasing and being replaced. It's a resultant phenomenon - can it be eliminated? #It_can_never_be_made_to_disappear.
#We're_trying_to_observe_what_cannot_disappear. Think about it.
When knowing the five aggregates, do we find a person? Do we find devas or brahmas? What we find is the five aggregates, not beings.
#Don't_we_need_to_distinguish_between_what_appears_and_what_we_think? We think 'beings' but find aggregates. #Isn't_this_ñāta_pariññā?
These aggregates arise and cease. Do we find aggregates or their absence? #Isn't_it_taught_that_absence_is_anicca_and_knowing_is_magga?
Isn't it taught as the characteristic of impermanence as suffering, characteristic of suffering as suffering, characteristic of non-self as suffering? Is this happiness or suffering? This must be known."
"When knowing it's suffering, does the wrong perception (avijjā) of human, deva, or brahma happiness still arise? Now there's true understanding. #We_need_to_know_it's_suffering. Isn't it taught as 'knowing and abandoning'? Do taṇhā, upādāna, and kamma still come? They're abandoned.
#What_exists_cannot_be_eliminated - vedanā ceases and is replaced, saññā ceases and is replaced, and so on with cetanā, viññāṇa, and rūpa. #Cessation_of_defilements_is_primary.
What are these defilements? #Wrong_perception - don't we wrongly perceive the five aggregates as beings?
When the five aggregates arise and cease, what truth is this? (It's dukkha sacca, Lord).
Is it human happiness or dukkha sacca? Deva happiness or dukkha sacca? Brahma happiness or dukkha sacca? When dukkha sacca is known, doesn't the wrong perception (avijjā) cease? #Avijjā_is_ceasing.
When there's true understanding of suffering, doesn't wrong understanding disappear? Isn't it taught that truth dispels falsehood?
#This_point_needs_repeated_understanding. When wrong view is gone, do taṇhā, upādāna, and kamma still come? Don't the three types of dependent origination break? When broken, will there be future aggregates? #Isn't_this_nirodha_sacca?
This needs to be studied..."
