When two people are arguing, what example is given?
It's like a narrow path whereA blind person is walking forward from behind
A person who can see is walking backward from the front
Between the seeing person and the blind person, who should give way?
The seeing person should give way, right?
Whether arguing about Dhamma, business,
Or even ordinary conversation,
When people argue, is it because they see or don't see?
It's because they don't see.
The moment there's argument, two people collide.
When the seeing person knows this is unwholesome, don't they avoid it?
Will they continue speaking and arguing?
See, they avoid it
Because they see clearly.
When they know it's unwholesome, do they still talk back?
Isn't this worth examining?
It's the same when arguing about Dhamma.
Between those who know and don't know, will the knowing person argue?
No, they won't.
The seeing person avoids it.
Isn't this worth emulating?
Study in this way.
