"သမ္မာသမ္ဗုဒ္ဓဿ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခိတုံ ကတံ မဟာသစ္စဝစနပညာပနံ ဓာတုဓာရကေန"
1. "နမော တဿ ဘဂဝတော အရဟတော သမ္မာသမ္ဗုဒ္ဓဿ"
Homage to the Blessed One, the Worthy One, the Perfectly Enlightened One
2. "သမ္မာသမ္ဗုဒ္ဓဿ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခိတုံ ကတံ မဟာသစ္စဝစနပညာပနံ ဓာတုဓာရကေန"
A Great Truth Declaration made by the Relic Guardian for protecting the relics of the Perfectly Enlightened One
3. "ဓာတုဓာရဏဉ္စ ရက္ခဏသမ္မတိ ပညာပနံ သတ္ထု ဓာတုယော ပရိဿာဝနံ ပဋိဇာနနံ"
This is a proclamation and acknowledgment regarding the guardianship and protection of the relics
4. "သဗ္ဗေသံ သတ္တာနံ - မနုဿာနဉ္စ ဒေဝတာနဉ္စ၊ ရူပိနော အရူပိနော စ - အဉ္ဇလီ ပဂ္ဂယှ သုဏန္တု"
Let all beings - humans and deities, both formed and formless - raise their hands in reverence and listen
5. "ဣဒါနိ၊ ဣမသ္မိံ ဓမ္မရက္ခဏကာလေ၊ ပါပကမ္မာနံ ဥဗ္ဗေဂေန စ ဓာတူနံ ဥပဒ္ဒဝေန ပီဠိယမာနေ၊ အဟံ - ယောဟံ သတ္ထု ဓာတူနံ မာနုသ-ဓာတုဓာရကော၊ သဗ္ဗစိတ္တေန ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ပကာသယာမိ"
Now, in this time of protecting the Dhamma, when there are threats from evil deeds and dangers to the relics, I - who am the human guardian of the Teacher's relics - declare this truth with all my heart
6. "ဓာတုယော အပရာဓံ ပဋိစ္စ၊ ဒေဝတာနံ ယက္ခာနဉ္စ ရက္ခာပဋိပတ္တိံ ယာစာမိ"
Concerning any transgressions against the relics, I request protection from deities and yakkhas
7. "ယထာ ပုဗ္ဗေ စတုလောကပါလာ စ ယက္ခသေနာ စ စေတိယရက္ခာ စ သတ္ထု ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တိ၊ တထာ ဣဒါနိပိ တုမှေ ကရောထ"
Just as in the past, the Four Great Guardian Kings, the armies of yakkhas, and the shrine protectors guarded the Teacher's relics, so too should you do now
8. "ဓာတူနံ အန္တရာယေ သတိ၊ အကာလေ အာဂတေ ပဋိသေဓေတုံ ဒုက္ကရံ ကရောန္တာ၊ ဣဒါနိပိ အပ္ပမတ္တာ ရက္ခန္တု"
When there is danger to the relics, though it is difficult to prevent those who come at inappropriate times, remain vigilant and continue to protect
9. "ယေ ဓာတူနံ အပရာဓိကာ၊ တေ သဗ္ဗေ ယုတ္တာယုတ္တံ ဝိဇာနန္တု"
Let all those who transgress against the relics know what is proper and improper
10. "ယေ မနသာ ဝါ ကာယေန ဝါ ဝါစာယ ဝါ ဓာတူနံ ဝိဟေဌကာ၊ တေ ပမာဒေန န မုစ္စန္တု။ ဣဓ ဒေဝတာနံ အာဏာ ဓမ္မေန ဝတ္တတိ"
Those who harm the relics by thought, body, or speech shall not be freed through negligence. Here, the authority of the deities operates according to Dhamma
11. "ယထာ ပုဗ္ဗေ၊ စာတုမဟာရာဇိကဒေဝါ၊ ယက္ခဂဏာ၊ စေတိယဒေဝတာ စ သတ္ထု ဓာတုယော ရက္ခိံသု၊ ဧဝံ-ဣဒါနိ ပိ၊ တုမှာကံ ကရဏီယံ ပတိပဇ္ဇထ။"
Just as in the past, the Four Great Kings, hosts of yakkhas, and shrine deities protected the Master's relics, so now too, you should undertake your duty.
12. "အာပဒါယ ဓာတူနံ၊ မာကံ ရက္ခာယ၊ ကာလမာပဇ္ဇိတွာ အကာလစရိတာနံ ပုရတော ဒုက္ကရံ အကာသိံသု။ ဣဒါနိ၊ တုမှေ အပ္ပဋိဝါဏာ ဟုတွာ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခထ။"
For the protection of the relics from danger, they performed difficult tasks before those who roamed at improper times. Now, you must protect the relics without hesitation.
13. "ဓာတုယော အပရာဓံ ကရောန္တာ - ယထာရူပံ ဝါ အနာရူပံ ဝါ - သဗ္ဗံ အပရာဓံ ပဋိဝိဇ္ဈန္တု။"
May those who commit offenses against the relics - whether fitting or unfitting - understand all their transgressions.
14. "ယေသံ စေတသာ ဝါ ကာယေန ဝါ ဝါစာယ ဝါ၊ ဓာတုယော ဥပဃာတံ ကရောန္တိ၊ တေ မာ ပမာဒါ မောစယန္တု။ ဓမ္မေန ဒေဝတာနံ အဓိကာရော ဧတ္ထ ဝတ္တတိ။"
Those who harm the relics by thought, body, or speech, may they be freed from heedlessness. The deities' authority here proceeds according to Dhamma.
15. "အဟံ၊ မာနုသဓာတုဓာရကော၊ မမ ရက္ခာပဋိပတ္တိံ ပုနပ္ပုနံ ပကာသယာမိ။"
I, the human bearer of relics, repeatedly declare my practice of protection.
16. "ဘဂဝတော ဓာတုယော သဗ္ဗပ္ပကာရတော ရက္ခိဿာမိ၊ ဓမ္မေန၊ ဝိနယေန၊ သမစိတ္တေန စ။"
I will protect the Blessed One's relics in every way, through Dhamma, through Vinaya, and with equanimity.
17. "အနုဗုဒ္ဓါနဉ္စ ဩဝါဒေ ဌတွာ၊ ဣမံ ဓမ္မာနုဓမ္မံ ဓာရေန္တော၊ အပရိမာဏံ ဟိတသုခံ ဇနေဿာမိ။"
Standing in the instruction of the enlightened ones, maintaining this Dhamma practice, I will generate immeasurable benefit and happiness.
18. "ဧသ မေ သစ္စဝစနော ဉာတိပညတ္တိ၊ ဒေဝတာနံ သကလဒဿနံ ဟောတု။"
Let this truthful declaration of my relationship be fully visible to the deities.
19. "ဘဂဝတော၊ ဓမ္မသင်္ဃဿ စ ရက္ခာ သဒါ ဇယတု။"
May the protection of the Blessed One and the Dhamma-Sangha always be victorious.
20. "သတ္ထု ဓာတုယော ဒီဃာယုကံ ပါလေတု - ဣဓ လောကေ အနာဂတေ စ။"
May the Master's relics endure for a long time - both in this world and in the future.
21. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဒေဝါ စ ဗြဟ္မာ စ ယက္ခာ စ ဘူတာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all devas, brahmas, yakkhas, and spirits protect these relics
22. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဂန္ဓဗ္ဗာ စ နာဂါ စ ကုမ္ဘဏ္ဍာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all gandhabba celestial musicians, nagas, and kumbhandas protect these relics
23. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ အာကာသဋ္ဌာ စ ထလဋ္ဌာ စ ဇလဋ္ဌာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all beings dwelling in the sky, on land, and in water protect these relics
24. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ သုပဏ္ဏာ စ ဂရုဠာ စ ကိန္နရာ စ မဟောရဂါ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all supaṇṇas, garuḷas, kinnaras, and great serpents protect these relics
25. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ အသုရာ စ ဒာနဝါ စ မာရာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all asuras, danavas, and maras protect these relics
26. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဣန္ဒာ စ စန္ဒာ စ အာဒိစ္စာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all Indras, moon deities, and sun deities protect these relics
27. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဝေဿဝဏာ စ ဓတရဋ္ဌာ စ ဝိရူပက္ခါ စ ဝိရူဠှကာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may Vessavaṇa, Dhataraṭṭha, Virūpakkha, and Virūḷhaka protect these relics
28. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဒေဝပုတ္တာ စ ဒေဝဓီတရော စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all sons and daughters of devas protect these relics
29. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဒေဝါ စ မနုဿာ စ တိရစ္ဆာနာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all devas, humans, and animals protect these relics
30. "ဣမံ သစ္စဝစနံ ကတွာ၊ ဓာတုယော ရက္ခန္တု၊ သဗ္ဗေ ပေတာ စ ပိသာစာ စ သဗ္ဗေ ဘူတာ စ"
Having made this truth declaration, may all petas, pisācas, and all spirits protect these relics
31. "ဧတေန သစ္စဝဇ္ဇေန၊ သောတ္ထိ တေ ဟောတု သဗ္ဗဒါ"
By this speaking of truth, may you be well at all times
32. "ဧတေန သစ္စဝဇ္ဇေန၊ သဗ္ဗေ ဘယာ ဝိနဿန္တု"
By this speaking of truth, may all fears be destroyed
ဣဿရိယဋ္ဌာနေ ဒိန္နော: သောဠသ-ပဏ္ဏရသမ ဒိဝသံ၊ ဇေဋ္ဌမာသဿ
