TK-053 — Purpose

Use this template when someone claims a “miracle” based on environment effects, such as:

  • sudden droplets, mist, sweat-like moisture on the relic or case

  • unusual smell, fogging, condensation, colour change

  • “light,” “glow,” “smoke,” “heat,” or “coolness” reports

  • mould, dust, salt crystals, or surface change seen as sacred sign

This template helps staff:

  1. record the claim respectfully,

  2. check climate logs (humidity, temperature, light),

  3. protect the relic (conservation first), and

  4. prepare a calm Conservation Explanation Note (for public or donors).

  4. Immediate actions recommended:

  1. Long-term actions recommended:

E. Conservation Explanation Note (Public-Safe Text)

Use this note when needed. Keep calm. Do not deny faith. Do not mock.

E1. Short version (for visitors)

“Thank you for sharing what you saw. Sometimes changes in temperature and humidity can create fog, droplets, or reflections on glass. We will check our climate records and protect the relic carefully. HSWAGATA will share verified information through official channels.”

E2. Longer version (for donors / community leaders)

“HSWAGATA respects people’s feelings and faith. At the same time, the museum must protect sacred relics from harm. Some ‘miracle-like’ signs can happen because of natural conditions, such as high humidity, rain season, warm breath from a crowd, cold glass, or sudden aircon changes. These can cause condensation, smells, or changes on surfaces.
We check climate logs (humidity and temperature) and we follow conservation care. We do not open cases or handle relics for public proof. Our goal is peace, safety, and respectful education.”

E3. Key safe sentence (must include in any written statement)

“This explanation is about conservation conditions. It is not a judgment on personal faith experiences.”

F. Decision & Follow-up

  1. Was the cause likely environmental?
☐ Likely yes ☐ Unclear ☐ No (needs more review)

  2. Actions taken (tick)

  • ☐ Adjust humidity control

  • ☐ Add door/visitor management

  • ☐ Add sign: “Please keep distance from glass”

  • ☐ Improve sensor placement

  • ☐ Staff briefing on calm response

  • ☐ Public FAQ update (if confusion spreads)
