T280 – Dhātu-parinibbāna Scenario Planning & Teaching Note (H100)
Purpose (read first):
This form helps us think ahead about “closure / ending / change” scenarios as teaching and training, not as panic. H100 warns that dhātu-parinibbāna must be taught carefully, so it reduces greed and fear and supports good governance.
Key doctrinal frame (simple):
Buddhist tradition says relics support faith for a long time, and at the end of the sāsana they gather and disappear. The message is not to guess dates, but to avoid clinging and practise while Dhamma is still present.
