Dear Esteemed Directors and Researchers,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Sao Dhammasami (Bhikkhu Indasoma Siridantamahapalaka), a Burmese scholar monk and the author of Custodians of the Buddha’s Sacred Relics Vol. 1: Discover the Legacy of Sacred Treasures. I am honored to serve as the custodian of several sacred relics of the Buddha, including Tooth Relics, Hair Relics, Bones Relics, Ashes of the Buddha.
At present, I am engaged in an extensive research project focused on the Buddha relics from ancient India. As part of this endeavor, I am seeking to conduct advanced scientific analyses, including DNA analysis and Carbon-14 dating, to gain deeper insights into the historical and cultural significance of these sacred treasures.
To ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity while respecting the cultural and spiritual significance of these relics, I am reaching out to esteemed laboratories and research institutions worldwide. My intention is to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic purposes and collaborative research.
This partnership will not only contribute to our collective understanding of the historical lineage of these sacred artifacts but also foster interdisciplinary collaboration between the fields of archaeology, science, and Buddhist studies.
I sincerely invite interested researchers and institutions to discuss potential collaboration opportunities. If your laboratory is open to such a partnership, I would be grateful for the opportunity to connect and explore how we can work together on this meaningful endeavor.
